Acute Care Nurse Assistant

This Program prepares Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to perform the duties and functions in an acute care setting such as assisting patients with respiratory failures, vascular disease, diabetes and other advanced care needs of patients.

Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible take on responsibilities in the hospital environment.


Length of Program: 4-8 weeks Schedule: Thurs,Fri,Sat (9am to 3pm), Sat-Sun (9am to 3pm)

Externship: Included (Kentfield Hospital)


Total Cost: $1,365.00

(includes Registration, Tuition, Materials & Supplies, Book & Handouts, Uniforms, CPR/BLS, Technology Fee, and Certificate Exam Fee)

The following requirements should be accomplished for admission to the program: 

  1. Completion of Enrollment Agreement 
  2. Payment of Registration Fee 
  3. Must be at least 18 years old 
  4. Must have completed the 160-hr Nurse Assistant Training Program 
  5. Must possess a valid government issued ID
  6. Must speak, write and understand English
  7. Must possess or in the process of obtaining a Social Security Number at the time of enrollment
  8. Current CPR certification with BLS prior to direct contact with patients
