This program prepares students to provide quality care to residents in nursing care facilities. Students will learn various aspects of residents’ care, such as Body Mechanics, Assistance in Daily Living, Medical/Surgical Asepsis, and Nutrition.
Upon completion of hours with a grade of C (75%) and above, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be able to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Exam that will lead to the California Nursing Assistant Certification.
The CA Certification Exam is held on our campus.
Job Assistance is provided to all students for employment in long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and agencies.
