Start your career in healthcare with NCNA's Medical Office Assisting Program. This comprehensive program prepares students for the administrative responsibilities of today's physician offices, medical clinics, hospitals, and outpatient healthcare facilities.

Students will receive training in:

Medical office procedures and workflow
Medical terminology and abbreviations
Patient scheduling and appointment coordination
Medical records management
Insurance billing and claims processing
Financial record keeping
Medical law and ethics
Professional communication and customer service
Certificate Awarded

Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion in Medical Office Assisting.

Graduates will also be prepared to take a national certification examination to demonstrate their knowledge and enhance their employment opportunities.

Program Length: 200 Hours

Class Schedule

Morning: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Evening: Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM

The following requirements should be accomplished for admission to the program: 

  1. Completion of Enrollment Agreement 
  2. Payment of Registration Fee 
  3. Must be at least 18 years old 
  4. Must possess a valid government issued ID
  5. Must speak, write and understand English
  6. Must submit proof of 12th grade education or its equivalent: High School Diploma from an accredited school or General Education Diploma (GED). * Foreign graduates must have a high school diploma or transcript evaluated for 12th grade equivalency in the US.
  7. Must possess or in the process of obtaining a Social Security Number or TIN at the time of enrollment
  8. Completed medical history, physical examination and PPD signed by a physician or nurse practitioner prior to any direct patient care
  9. Current CPR certification with BLS prior to direct contact with patients
