Nurse Assistant


This program prepares students to provide quality care to residents in nursing care facilities. Students will learn various aspects of residents’ care, such as Body Mechanics, Assistance in Daily Living, Medical/Surgical Asepsis, and Nutrition.

Clinical Training is completed at our partner facilities - Pacific Heights Transitional Care, The Avenues Transitional Care and Linda Mar Rehabilitation Center.

Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be able to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Exam that will lead to the California Nursing Assistant Certification. The CA Certification Exam is held in our campus.

Job Assistance is provided to all students for employment in long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and agencies.​

Length of Program: 2-3 months

Class Sessions :  M-Th (5:30pm-10pm) 
                               M-Th (9:00am-3:30pm) 
                              Sat-Sun (9:00am-3:30pm)

Total Cost: $2,075

(includes Registration, Tuition, Materials, Supplies, Uniform, CPR Training)

SPECIAL NOTICE (effective until end of declared CoVid-19 Emergency):

  • The theory portion of the Nursing Assistant Training Program is being held online through distance learning.
  • The clinical portion of the program is being conducted in the classroom through simulations and skills demonstrations.

The following requirements should be accomplished for admission to the program: 

  1. Completion of Enrollment Agreement 
  2. Payment of Registration Fee 
  3. Must be at least 16 years old 
  4. Must possess a valid government issued ID
  5. Must speak, write and understand English
  6. Must possess or in the process of obtaining a Social Security Number or TIN at the time of enrollment
  7. Completed medical history, physical examination and PPD signed by a physician or nurse practitioner prior to any direct patient care
  8. Undergo a live scan process upon admission and prior to direct contact with residents
  9.  Current CPR certification with BLS is prior to direct contact with patients
